INGREDIENTS
- 1 Butter cake mix (box mix from store)
- 4 eggs
- ¾ cup of Oil
- ½ cup of Sugar
- 1 cup of Buttermilk
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 4 tsp Cinnamon
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar
- 4 tsp Vanilla
- ¾ cup of Milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the cake mix , eggs, oil, sugar and buttermilk together in a mixing bowl. We make this with our kitchen aid mixer and you can really tell a difference.
- In a separate bowl combine the brown sugar and cinnamon together and mix well with a fork.
- Pour batter in a nice casserole dish. The bigger the size the thinner the slices. 9 X 13 works great.
- Now sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the entire cake and then work it in to the batter with a knife or fork. I have a picture showing how this would look.
- Bake at 350 F at about 40 mins or until cake is done.
- For the Icing use the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. You can pour over cake before cutting, but i have found it better to cut cake hot and pour over to allow icing to get into the cracks of every slice.
