Ingredients
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (32 oz) jar sliced dill pickles, drained well
- canola or vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, 1 tablespoon of flour, and Worcestershire Sauce.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the flour and seasonings.
- Dip each pickle slice in the milk mixture, then dredge in the flour until well coated.
- In a cast iron skillet, heat oil. Fry the battered pickles in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
